“Destination: Magic Mountain” illustrates the fears and hopes of a mid-career artist who is desperately trying, against all odds, to keep the ball moving, being an artist and doing a job that pays the bills.
It is a fight against the gravity of every day life.
  The bombastic title is promising something rewarding, something special, something that will take away the mundane reality and ontological fear; it will give significance and meaning if only we will keep going, manage to make all the right steps, pass the test of the journey.
